Children’s Workshops: Funded by the Big Lottery and delivered by New Pathways Children’s Therapists
Over the Summer Months New Pathways are delivering a series of workshops aimed at improving the emotional wellbeing of children and young people. These workshops will be a fun and enjoyable way for children and young people to explore a range of issues which may affect them. There are some workshops scheduled to take place in Merthyr, Newport and Swansea. However workshops can also be developed to be delivered to groups of young people at your own premises.
About the workshops
The workshops are developed around themes such as Anger, Internet safety, Storytelling and Loss. The workshops aim to increase self-awareness and enable participants to develop coping strategies. Participants can explore these issues in a small group setting and think about ways in which they can use what they learn to improve their emotional wellbeing.
How to refer?
Staff from Voluntary and Statutory agencies can refer young people whom they feel might benefit from specific topics and young people can also refer themselves.
