New Pathways

Volunteer

At New Pathways, we value our volunteers and the work they do with our clients and organisation.  We recruit volunteers regularly across our services and geographical areas (Carmarthen, Swansea, Bridgend, Cardiff, Newport, Merthyr Tydfil).

Volunteer roles have included counselling, administration, public relations and research and we welcome suggestions for new areas of volunteer work.

Volunteer Counsellor Role

Volunteer counsellors are one of the roles we regularly recruit for.  This role is predominantly taken on by counselling students requiring a placement, however we do take qualified counsellors across varying counselling approaches.  Volunteers must have already achieved a Certificate in Counselling at Level 3 and be commencing on or studying at level 4 or above.
