Crisis Worker Open Evening

Crisis Worker Open Evening

Date: 24 February 2023 | By: newpathway

We are currently looking to expand our team of Crisis Workers.

If you'd like to find out more about Sexual Assault Referral Centres and the role of Crisis Workers, come along to our Open Evening.

Crisis workers offer support to people affected by sexual violence during forensic medical examinations and police interviews. Many of our current front line staff started their New Pathways’ careers as crisis workers. The role is critical to keeping our Sexual Assault Referral Centres available 24/7.

You will have the opportunity to listen to an experienced Crisis Worker talk about the role, as well as finding out about rates and hours, and ask any questions you might have.

Applicants are required to live within one hour of a Sexual Assault Referral Centre. These are located in: Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Merthyr, Newtown, Risca and Swansea. We are currently looking for female-only applicants, as per the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, and Part 1 Section 7(2) e of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975.

This event will take place on Zoom. The link will be sent out the day before the event. Book on here:
