Sexual Assault and Sexual Violence Awareness Week – New Pathways Programme Announced
Awareness of sexual violence issues is key to achieving ‘a world without sexual violence’. For 2024 we aim to raise awareness through a programme of free 1 hour webinars, chosen by our staff to illustrate just some of the diverse issues encompassed by sexual violence. Throughout the week, we’ll be raising sexual violence awareness, shining a light on the growing problem of sextortion, promoting understanding of how to help children who disclosure sexual abuse and discussing both child sexual exploitation and sexually harmful behaviour. These webinars will run throughout Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Week 2024, starting on the 5th February 2024.
It's so important that survivors know what kind of support is available for their recovery and how they can access it. New Pathways provides a range of specialist support services for sexual violence survivors, including counselling and therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy. For Sexual Violence & Abuse Awareness week, help us to raise awareness of these services by downloading and sharing the posts below.
